During that stages of early adolescents kids minds are developing an absorbing information. When the present of a cell phone is in class kids tend to ignore the lesson and their brain does not hold on to the information being taught. In the article called “Research continually shows how distracting cell phones are—so some schools want to ban them” by CNBC https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/18/research-shows-that-cell-phones-distract-students--so-France-banned-them-in-school--.html It talks about how the French government banned test Scores in school and since that has happened test scores had increased and low performing students have benefited. In conclusion phone being in the classroom has a negative effect on kids and their learning abilities.
ReplyDeleteIn the process of Middle adolescence, teens are gaining more and more abstract thoughts about the world around them. In the year 2019, a lot of that happens through a phone. Current debates argue whether or not that exploration should happen in school hours.
