Gratitude

Thanksgiving is here. It's a time to reflect on our accomplishments and give thanks to some of friends and family that have helped us along the way. You've been through a lot of changes in the last three months. So for this post please reflect on one accomplishment you are proud that you accomplished and one friend or family member that has helped you in some way that your thankful for.

  1. One thing that I have accomplished this year was being able to successfully able to open my locker. Going into high school this was one thing I was scared I wasn’t going to be able to do. So over the summer, my mom bought me the lock and helped me figure it out. We spent hours trying to figure out how to open the lock so I’m glad that my mom spent the time with me and helped me.

  2. One accomplishment I am proud of accomplishing is starting to not procrastinate as much on my homework. If I procrastinated, I found that it made me stressed about an assignment's due date, even if most times I did it to complete assignments the next day. Now, I've started to fit in time where I can successfully do my homework in a way that doesn't make me stressed. I'm thankful for my friend Clara who, even though goes to a different high school, texts me to check in and start a conversation. It's very thoughtful of her I am grateful for having such a good friend.
