Coronavirus Safe Space

At the start of the year, we asked the question, why are we here? It's crucial to know "why" we are doing things in order to accept them, understand them and hopefully abide by them. Above are the facts about the disease and the reasons why we are taking precautions.  Please read it and discuss the following. I want you to feel free to speak about your experience with what's happening today.
  • How are you feeling?
  • How has your daily routine been disrupted?
  • How has your family been impacted?
  • How are you taking care of yourself?
Share with us a little about what this experience has been like for you.

  2. The whole corona thing sounds fun at first. You get to stay home all day and you can do your schoolwork at home. But as that days pass I realized that this isn’t as good as I initially thought it would be. Softball season got pushed back and I’m stuck in my house with nothing to do. This means I have done really weird things to pass the times. I baked too many times. Painted and I even tried to learn how to sew, this didn’t go too well I just ended up stabbing myself a bunch of times. I even dyed my hair. Which I now kinda regret but it looks cool. But I still feel bored all of the time. So that’s how my social distancing has been going.

  3. I am feeling okay about this Covid-19 business because there is a lot less stress. I don't mean I'm feeling okay as in I'm okay with people contracting this illness and possibly dying but I'm okay as in I'm doing alright. I don't really think that my daily routine has been that disrupted but I do think that the transition out of quarantine and back to school will be a bit rough for me! My parents are still working and my sister takes online classes. My mom a lot of times has to help my sister with her work because she isn't the best reader yet and when I finish school, I offer up my assistance. I'm taking care of myself relatively well. I'm independent so I don't need much help from anyone else. I also entertain myself with hobbies and currently at home volunteering for my sewing teacher! All and all, things are okay.
